Sensors

WNC integrates a range of different sensors into the system. The sensors are in most cases standard sensors available on the open market and in most cases integrated as part of the WNC turn-key solution. However, the WNC system may also interface sensors that already are installed and in operations at the customer premises.

Up to date, WNC has integrated the following sensors into the system:

• temperature (digital, analogue, and infra-red)
  
• relative humidity (RH)
• digital in
• pressure
• fluid level
• flow
• wind speed and direction
• door detection

The sensors may be the wireless sensors, applying the WNC radio protocol, or the sensors may be wired to the Radio Node through any of the interfaces offered by the Radio Node. Please see sensor interfaces for more information on the different sensor interfaces that the system supports.
