Monitoring refrigerated containers with ArtiqCoolTM

Every year several tons of pharmaceutical products and fresh food (fruits, meat, fish, vegetables etc) become unsuitable for consumption, due to unacceptable temperature variations during transportation - which lead to significant economic losses. Faulty or missing thermometer readings or inaccurate temperature settings and power cut-off have been detected as some of the leading causes of these problems.

In cooperation with Arkub AB, a Swedish telematic company,  WNC has for several years been providing a remote monitoring system for real time surveillance of reefer containers.

The system monitors remotely the cooling machinery on each reefer container (set point temperatures, alarms etc) in addition to continuously reporting real time temperature readings from inside the actual reefer container.
