The Radio Master
The Radio Master form the core of the wireless network, and is responsible for collecting all the data from the field and routing that back to the central information system (Back Office) via GPRS or satellite.

The Radio Master is a cluster node: By gathering information from several radio nodes before sending the information to the back office, the number of GPRS subscriptions or satellite connections is reduced to a minimum: This gives considerable savings both on equipment investments and power consumption.
The Radio Master may contain a GPS node, which enables geographical localisation of the Radio Master (and it attached nodes). A map function in the back-office system enables the customers to see the location of the monitored nodes.
