Wireless HACCP sensor nodes

WNC has developed two different types of sensor nodes for the HACCP application - both well suited the harsch environment and treatment in supermarkets:  Wireless sensor nodes  and  Wireless hand-held unit

Wireless sensor nodes

The wireless sensor nodes are normally fixed inside the different cooling/freezing installations to measure temperature at regular intervals (normally every minute). Strong magnets mouled in the back side of the node ensures short installation times and a secure attachment. The units are made to support tempeatures between -35 degrees and +50 degrees Celsuis. An intelligent energy saving program ensures a battery life time of 5-10 years.

The sensor nodes interfaces a range of different sensors:

- temperature sensors (digital, analogue, and infra-red)
- relative humidy (RH)
- digital-in

Wireless hand-held unit

The hand held unit is developed to give an easy and efficient tool for sampling temperatures on hot-food and/or incomming goods to the food store. The user simply applies the probe to the goods, enters a product code, and presses enter. The temperature measurement with the corresponding product code and time stamp attached is then automatically transferred - through the wireless network - into the central database. As soon as the measurement is registred by the hand held unit, the measurement data will be available from the internet application for graphs, reports, statistics and alarm handling application - as with all other measurement data collected by the sensor network.
